Mike is a graduate from the University of Otago in New Zealand having studied towards a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and has previously worked in clinics in Melbourne and London. Mike has recently completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy through Curtin University and also has a qualification in strength and conditioning.

Mike has a clinical interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation.  He is currently the Head Physiotherapist at the Perth Demons Football Club and has previously worked as a physiotherapist with the WA State Football programs, Rugby Union Clubs and with many individual athletes.  Though this he has developed an interest in biomechanical assessment of injuries particularly with regard to running and shoulder injuries. He has an extensive knowledge of sports having played top-level amateur Rugby Union, Tennis and he continues to play Touch Football in the summer.
