Peter Gangemi

Peter has completed a Masters in Physiotherapy after finishing a Bachelors of Exercise, Sports and Rehabilitation Science at Curtin University. He is currently head physiotherapist for Colts at Perth Demons Football Club, and previously worked with East Fremantle Football Club and Wests Scarborough Rugby Club. 

His clinical interests are in musculoskeletal injuries and exercise rehabilitation, especially of the back, hip and knee. Peter has practical experience in Strength & Conditioning at Malaysia’s National Institute of Sport, working closely with boxing, wushu and karate athletes. He has a strong interest in soccer, basketball, martial arts and scuba diving. Peter has also worked with MSWA and has a keen interest in neurological rehabilitation. He has completed his competency course in Dry Needling and regularly uses it as part of his treatment for various injuries.

With the use of current evidence-based physiotherapy and sport science tested strategies, Peter is dedicated to providing injury assessment, management, treatment and specific exercise programming aimed at achieving true human optimization for everyone he meets.
