Below are the latest updates regarding GP referrals and private health rebates:

Enhanced Primary Care Plan

You can access telehealth if you are under a GP care plan as per normal. There are two options of the consult; via telephone or video link. To make an appointment, you can call us on 9361 3777 and let us know it is for an EPC telehealth consultation. Alternatively, you can book online but just make sure you select the Telehealth option and let us know it is an EPC so we can make sure we have the paperwork. If you are currently being treated at our clinic, let your physiotherapist know you prefer Telehealth and they can organise it for you.

Motor Vehicle Accident or Workers Compensation Claim

We require a doctors referral as per normal. If you are under a current MVA or worker’s compensation claim and being treated at our clinic but would prefer Telehealth then let one of our physiotherapists know. Most insurance company’s will oblige as long as the physiotherapist gets prior approval to change the consultation to Telehealth.

Private Health Insurance Rebates

PHI rebates apply but there are some stipulations depending on your health fund. You are also eligible for PHI rebates if you have a referral from your GP for a chronic condition including:

  • chronic musculoskeletal conditions

  • cardiac or pulmonary rehab

  • post-op surgery rehab

If you have specific questions about your individual PHI fund, it is best to call them to find out.
