Livinia Florisson
Physiotherapist
Sport and experience
Livinia grew up in country WA playing a range of sports and spending much of her time in the ocean, and that background shaped an early interest in sports physiotherapy.
During her studies she gained experience across amateur football, rugby and NBL1 basketball, along with time in the West Coast Eagles AFLW and Hockey WA environments. Working across that range of sports and levels gave her exposure to everything from acute pitchside injuries to longer-term rehabilitation.
How Livinia works
Livinia's focus is on getting people back to what matters to them, whether that is a return to sport or simply getting back into the garden without pain.
She works with what a patient can already do rather than starting from what they cannot, and builds a plan around their goals from there. She takes time to understand the person alongside the injury, which is usually what determines whether a rehabilitation plan actually gets followed.
