Katie-Jane Hartshorn, physiotherapist at East Vic Park Physiotherapy

Experience and background

Katie spent three seasons with the Fremantle Dockers AFLW program, and has also worked with the WACA and across the SBL and WSBL. She also spent three years working alongside an orthopaedic shoulder surgeon in his consulting rooms, which shaped a particular depth in shoulder rehabilitation.

Outside the clinic she teaches as a sessional academic at Curtin University in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, serves as secretary of the WA Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy Committee, and presents the APA Level 1 Dry Needling course.

Outside the clinic

Katie played professional cricket for the Perth Scorchers and Western Fury before retiring. She now trains CrossFit, is still working on her handstand walk, and spends her spare time doing yoga, reading and playing golf.
